Well, I'd say I'm speechless.
But I'm not.
There will be a Bratz Movie.
This is a showcase of reasons why other countries hate us. Tweens. (Keep in mind I actually shuddered after typing that)
Thats...that's all I can say, really. I wish it was a sign of the end times... I'll have to search through my bible tonight.
I am both angry and a little sick at the thought of this.
I gotta say, the dolls are still worse.

Okay, so last night my roomates and I packed into a minivan and went to see the midnight show of Spiderman 3.
Here are my thoughts:
Oh, and beware of spoilers!
For starters, It WAS entertaining. Worth the money. But there were a few issues with the construction of the plot. The villans were kinda crammed in. We never learn why Sandman's daughter is dying, just that she has some kind of disease. As for Venom, he's cool, as expected, but don't expect him to be like the Venom you grew up with. It kinda comes down to Eddie Brock. Y'see, when Brock was in the cartoons when I was growing up, he was a beefy bully. That is not the case here. Instead, he is more like Peter Parker: skinny photographer. Kinda like the whole 'rivals-from-alternate-dimension-that-lo ok-the-same-except-for-some-minor-detail-l ike-a-mustache' thing. Oh, and he is a jerk as expected. Back to the point. Venom joins with brock, and thus mimicks HIS body style, like any symbiot would. So we have a more lean-muscled Venom. Frankly, the Venom suit seems to be thrown in just for pleasing the fans. It doesn't do a bad job, but it's kinda odd. Oh, and here is my other complaint: Venom makes Parker Emo. Seriously. He looks like he should be in Green Day. You have to see it to get it, but believe me here.
Now, as for Harry... he takes up a good amount of plot space, losing his memory and all. But he makes up for a lot of high school-ish drama by the end of the film. When he turns 'bad' after his father's painting 'talks to him', he really just does two things: makes MJ dump Parker, and then tells Parker that he is MJ's new guy. Really, that's about it. A little simple. But with as much time as you can have in 2.5 hours with three 'bad guys', I guess that's to be expected.
I guess what it comes down to is that it was fun to watch, a great movie, but A bit crammed for space. Sandman is incredible to watch, and the fights made me cringe multiple times at the imaginable pain of the blows. But it could have been better, maybe if they simplifed it down to ONE of the plot elements: Venom or Sandman.
*shrug* I'm no expert. Go see it yourself, I don't think you'll be too disappointed, if at all.
I'm tired. It was up till 3. Bleh.
